Overview of Integration Steps

This documentation outlines the key steps involved in getting started with the VaultN API:

  1. Invitation & Registration
    VaultN operates on an invitation-only basis. An existing VaultN member must invite you to join the network. This invitation is your starting point for account creation.
  2. Account Setup
    Once you have accepted your invitation, follow the registration process to finalize your VaultN account details and organizational profile.
  3. API Authentication (Only For Retailers)
    VaultN leverages both certificate-based authentication and authentication tokens. You will need to obtain valid credentials to interact with the VaultN API securely.
  4. Utilizing the Endpoints (Only For Retailers)
    Familiarize yourself with the key endpoint categories—such as catalog endpoints for product listings and order endpoints for transaction handling—before moving to production.
  5. Migrating from Sandbox to Production
    After testing your integration within the Sandbox environment, promote your setup to the Production environment to begin live transactions.
