How long is a reservation valid for?

Current State

A reservation is good for 15 minutes. Initial 15 minutes can be extended twice for the same amount of time before it runs out. Potentially a reservation can be kept alive for almost as long as 45 minutes.

Future Work

Reservations are to be redesigned to be more flexible. They would be allowed to have longer validity globally and also be specified more on different levels, such as per connection.
